Siemens 840d Peddinghaus

We are having problems wit a compensation on this machine.

The compensation for errors in he rack has been switched on with parameter Md 32700.

I can see the compensation working in diagnosis , service axis ,comp table.

But then it stops working for no reason, and I have to switch the machine off to get it working again until it stops again.

Any advise
