I have the following problem on a Johnford VMC 850 machining center , fitted with a Heidenhain i530 control.

Placing a clock on the table surface and moving the table in the Y axis , we get a difference of 0.06mm over 500mm travel.

I believe that the Heidenhain control has a parameter that can be set which moves the Z axis to counter act the error.

Can anyone shed some light on this.

Regards

Deon
