Default Matsuura Mc500v seq error/magazine error

    Matsuura Mc500v seq error/magazine error

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    I have 2 Matsuura 500v CNC milling machines. 1985 and 1986.
usually when it is cold in the shop, such as on a monday after a weekend...I get an alarm:

    400: SEQ ERROR

    users message
    425: [47] magazine error.

after warming the machine up for about 3 hrs or so the tools will change correctly. Any suggestions as to what might be worn, sticking or other?

got an mx2 controller on it

Could be something with the air circuit. If the valves start sticking after sitting down for a period of time they will loosen up. Try sticking some air oil in the lines to the machine. I believe the sequence error is generic for any reason the tool changer does not complete. I think if you remove air from the machine this error comes up everytime.

    Hope this helps

found the problem. It was ATC limit switches #s 19 and 21 on my machine. They were sticking. We hit them with some penetrating oil and worked them back and forth. seems to be running ok now. Hopefully will continue to run ok.
