    Default machine tool builders

Does anyone know of a good website or research area for comparing machinery? We were looking at purchasing some new VTL's a Ameri-Seiki VT2000 with Fanuc Oi contorl and or a Tong Tai TVL-16DCM with a Fanuc 18i control. I do not have any experience with these models and wanted to research quality, service, and compare (etc). I am also not familiar with the Fanuc Oi control I mainly used 15 and 18 controls; any insight would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks for the help.

If you want to find information about this kind of tools youI can suggest you two interesting websites where you can find many different solutions and a good technical support to start working in the field of industrial machinery. The two websites are the following: http://en.bettomacchine.it/guillotine-shears-c-67.html and http://www.asafmachinery.com/sawing-machines-c-82.html

Just how useful is a website that describes a Nakamura Tome WTS 150 (a LATHE) as a "horizontal machining center" and lists "multiple pallets" as an "Extra Function"? I think the site may need some work, but it's a good idea.

Thanks for the PM but I have the manuals and you probably saw this thread because some spammers posted in it and brought it back from 3yrs ago. I deleted the spam.

    Thanks again,

    No worries.

We did not purchase anything. This was back when we were doing a stretch forecast and the numbers pointed to needing VTL capacity but it never panned out.
