What type of tool setter is installed on the machine. Is it Mazak's plunger or any other brand ? Is the control equipped with tool setting software ? What type of Yasnac control is it ? Did the system ever work ?

    Hi

thanks for your response, the tool setter is a plunger type i assume original Mazak, there is a program in the machine memory which is obviously for tool setting and the control is a Yasnac MX3 control.

if you can assist or point me in the right direction with the procedure it would be great.

    thanks

    regards

It seems a bit peculiar. The Mazaks plunger is 2 step instrument which has 2 built in normally closed switches. Normally the first is used for slow down, and the secong for measuring trigger. The Mazatrol software is using this arrangement.
You say that there us a program in machine memory, if you cold copy it and send, I should be able to figure out how it works.
