If you are planning to buy a chinese CNC, avoid Philicam. We ordered a CNC from them about 3 years ago. When we received it, it was impossible to make it work for all kinds of mechanical and control reason. After talking about the list of problem we had with it, they asked us to send it back to them for repair after, of course, telling us that we should go to China for training on the CNC, because it seemed to them that we didn't know how to make it work. About 2 years later, after at least 100 emails, even more discussion on Skype, they told us that they had to make a new one because it would take less time to make a new one than to fix it. 3 years later, our CNC is still not back from '' repair '' and Philicam answers our mail about once every 2 months. So, unless you have money to waist, avoid this company.

Based on the reviews I read on many forum and on my own experience, I wouldn't buy a chinese CNC. As I mentioned in a previous comment, we bought a CNC from Philicam and are still '' hoping '' that we will receive this CNC. The replies we get from them are full of lies to make you believe that it's nobody's fault but in the end, you end up with nothing except less money in your pocket and waist of time. I should mention that, before we bought a CNC from Philicam, we also bought one from Forsun. We also had a lot of problem with this CNC but, since we had a lot of experience with the control used on this CNC and good engineering dept, we were able to make it work. We switch to Philicam hoping things would be better but we were wrong. Also, remember that, depending on your time zone, that their poor service is only available during their '' daytime '' even if they advertise that they have 24 hours service. If you consider sales dept as '' service '' then they you can say that they offer 24 hour service, otherwise, it's BS in the case of the 2 companies I mentioned. So, if you have the time and money to gamble on chinese CNC, go ahead, you might be lucky. We don't.
