Question Mori Seiki SL-250 help needed!!!!!!

I have a CNC Lathe Mori Seiki SL-250 with MSC-500 control (i have been told it is a Fanuc control not seiko), after losing and restore the parameters (due to a battery failure), the movements are ok on X & Z axes but the tool turret is misaligned, i mean when it moves towards the material in X axis, i can see the tool is below the center or rotation axis, it is like the clamping angle of the turret have moved.
By the way the lathe has not crashed.
Does anybody knows how to rotate the turret with the handle control to realign?
    Any ideas?

Are you sure your tools are set right? I mean how far are you off? It could be that when it was wiped it messed up your wear offset?

I believe it is a FANUC 21i controller

Well, it worked fine before the memory issue,

I would check your Tool Geometry offset first. Them you might want to try calling it to home position and see if Machine 0,0 are accurate.

If that doesn't work you may want to call ellison

I would check the positon of the encoder and the curvent coupling in the turret.

Hi I have a proceedure on how to set the turret home position on a Mori MSG 501 Control, its a FS 21 control. you would have to let me know your e-mail so I can scan it, and send it to you. Why not contact Mori-Seiki, I am sure they will fwd you a copy.

Thank you for all your inputs, the problem has been solved using a procedure from mori seiki, the turret can be rotated with the handle control entering the "field adjustment mode".

    Regards.
