    Default MCV-410 Write Protect Switch

I am trying to write into CYCD parameter or number "068" but can't seem to find the darn switch anywhere. Does anyone know where the write protect switch on this machine is? I will be grateful if anyone could tell me.

    Thanks,
    Ryu

I should add the controller is a Fanuc 6m. There is no switch on the main controller and the manual tells me it is by the "main PCB". I even opened all the cabinets at the back to look for this switch but found nothing.

Look at the red circle...make sure you have a parameter backup file or document before modifying anything.

Sinumeriko: Thanks a bunch! I will look for it again tomorrow. It was killing me all day and was peck drilling with a big relief value and was a big waste of time. Thanks again!

Sinumeriko thank you I found the switch today with the help of your picture. That picture on the manual is what I have on my manual too, I find it quite a vague picture of a PCB and did not help me at all.

    Thanks again.
