    Default amada problems

    Hi all !!!
I'm new here, and I'm not speaking english very well. Also, I need a help from an expert, I think.

    I have two Amada punching machines: (1) 04PC and (2) A028-0060-B105.

    Problem:

From time to time, Amadan 04PC is alarming "watch dog timer", error 2017, and also errors:
    01 EXEC MF/TF/EF
    14 EMERGENCY/RESET

After machine reset (turning off and on), machine is working correctly but sometimes 2 hours, sometimes 2 minutes.
What I should do ? What is procedure for problem solving ?

    ----------------------------
The second machine, Amada A028-0060-B105, has almost the same problem, but this machine is working correctly only a couple of seconds.
Trying to solve the problem, we found that the gap between friction disc was 1.3mm, and we made correction, and this gap is 0.8mm (because we found this measure writen on the wheel). That is all what we done.
What I should do and how to start solving problems ?

    --------------------
Also, I do not have any paper, documentation about these machines.
I'm appreciating if anybody help me somehow.

Usually watchdog timer is part of the processor. The watchdog timer times out if a process takes too long or an interrupt is hanging up. Check your processor of controller.

Basically Watch Dog Timer Alarm in your case is probably caused from turret
rotation or Punch is not completed or M code signal not returned.
It Mean Mcode , Scode or T code over time.

Please let me know Machine Model ,Production date, Serial Number.
Also I need Tool station Number and How many Auto index station do you have? 1,2 or 4?.

With the watchdog timer alarms on 04PC you should check there is no water in the compressed air supply to the machine, and make sure the air oiler is topped up regularly. There are a lot of air solenoids and some air pressure switches that may not function correctly with moisture in the air circuit over the years. It could be as simple as corrosion in an air pressure sensor, maybe like repositioning sensors if this feature is not used often. Sometimes air cylinders can become sticky or slow moving with internal corrosion.
Maybe check the relay board, could be a faulty or intermittent connection with a relay in the socket. The I/O board switches the relays, so check connections on this also.
It should also be possible to change the timer settings in your PMC parameters to increase the time before some alarms. This may be an acceptable short term fix if the watchdog timer alarm puts the machine in a 'Stop' situation that can be overcome simply by pressing 'Start' to resume operation part way through a program. (This doesn't solve the problem only works around it).

we are getting EXEC alarm with MF/TF/EF. Is it because of Turret Parameter or because of Macros ? ITs pega-357 with 04PC control and serial no of machine is P3570963.

lately, I found a the stupid thing. Under the lower turret where the "C" axis is, the auto-index, theres are 2 sensors, you can see 2 red LEDS and if 1 or both are turn off, is because there is some scraps around or between the sensor and the detector. Just go under and remove the scraps, make sure to remove all the scraps you can and the problem will be fix.

It maybe some other cause, but if you can't find anything, try this.

P.S.: it was on vipros 345
