Default QT 10 -Alarm 8 battery malfunction

I am getting the following alarm on a Mazak QT 10 lathe , with a T32 control.

    "8 - Battery malfunction"

I assume the batteries need to be changed.

I cannot seem to find where the batteries are situated.

Could someone please indicate the position of the batteries and give a procedure for changing them , as I want to prevent losing alll the parameters.

    Regards
    Deon

    Hi DEONSKOK

Most of the times, the battery is located near the MC712 card or Memmory module on your controoler rack.
The controller is located inside your electrical cabinet.
The card is an MC061A and is ½ the size of the rest of yuor cards.

Remember to take a fully backup just in case, and change the battery with power on.
