Default storing programs from my 1993 puma daewoo lathe

I am trying to store programs from a 93 daewoo puma with fanuc ot controller to a pc with gibbs cam. I keep getting alarm 85 that says in the book that it is a baude rate, bit or parity error.I have changed every parameter I can find for baud rates to jive with the gibbs. and have tried every combo on the gibbs com settings but can't get it to work. have tried different options shown in the fanuc book on com cables as far as jumping pins ect. The only parameter i am not sure about is # 38 (one of those 0101010100 you know the kind?) any one have any ideas?

Attached is PDF of the pinout I use and a guide on the Oseries control.

    I would run:
    DATA FORMAT- ISO
    PARITY- EVEN
    DATA BITS- 7
    STOP BITS- 2
    FLOW CONTROL- XON/XOFF

You have to make sure that your PC settings match the CNC settings exactly. You cannot have the baudrate in the PC set at 4800 while the CNC is 9600
