Default learning about macro programming

hi,
im new in this site i just wanted a help on how to learn and proper using of macro programming... plsss anyone here can help me i just wanted to upgrade my skills...
specially in V-milling

Buy Peter Smid's book on Fanuc Macro Programming. Definately a great purchase, well worth the money!!

can anybody help me how to hide a parameters for safety reason... specially in rigid tapping, canned cycles, and editing macro.... thanks

Rubin,
We need to know the model control you are using. If Fanuc there are parameters that you can set to lock the 8000 and 9000 program number range which are typically your macro programs. You can not hide your NC parameters however in order to change them the PWE bit must be set in order to do so. The problem is most operators know how to set this bit.

If you are referring to hiding macro variables there is not a way to hide them but you can lock a sequential range of them via parameter setting. However if you code the variables in the macro program that is in the program number range of 8000 or 9000 and lock the program then it does not matter if they change them as they will restore to the value set in the program.

Just take the "EDIT LOCK" key out of the machine.
(on LOCK position, of course)
