Default SmartCam-MasterCam difference.

A question to all of you that use either Cam system.
As most of you know, I teach shops how to program Fanuc lathes and mills with G Codes.
I have a chance to go to a very unusual training job.
Its on the island of Guam, its totally out in the middle of nowhere, about a 1000 miles past Hawai.
The machine are a Fanuc controlled lathe and a Mill, it should be no problem to train the people how to program and produce parts.
But they do produce 1 or 2 parts at a time and already have either Smart or MasterCam.
How close art they to each other and what is a reasonable training time?
Are there any training videos available?
Any help is appreciated.
Heinz.

Default Re: SmartCam-MasterCam difference.

SmartCAM's website provides excellent training support here: http://www.smartcamcnc.com/LearnSmar...18/Default.htm

If your client has purchased SMA support, the site also has great video tutorials.

There are also a few youtube type videos like this one that can be found http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMlcZT4lVpQ

Just the opinions of an old fool
