Default Ethernet M70

We have a machine that has M70 control. To comunicate the M70 control, Mitsubishi have a software that name is CNC Mitsubishi Explorer that comunicate machine with PC. In machine we adjust some parameters that are by the config of ethernet. The mst important are the IP address, gateway and sub-net mask. I do this procedure in all machines here in Brazil. But, this week it´s not work, because the network is controlled by DHCP and all computer´s and machines in the network must need MAC address. Anybody knows how can i find this MAC address of the board in the machine ??? The people of Mitsubishi in Brazil don´t know how find this address !!!

Thanks a lot

Daniel

Dear Daniel, the M65 command has a label on the RJ45 connector on the network adapter with MAC address it. I think the M70 should be the same. Have you seen this?

Hi Daniel,

On the other hand if there is no visible label with the mac address its relatively simple to find the mac address through the router. If you have a IT group there they can temporary allow any physically connected device get in the network and find out its mac address so long the device was correctly setup for your network (IP, subnet, gateway and dns).

Cheers,
Ryu
