Default How To Introduce Youself by using a "New Thread"

First off welcome to the group.

This is the "Introduce Yourself" section of the forum. Please use this section of the forum to say hello and share your experience by starting a "New Thread" and NOT by clicking on "Post Reply" here in this thread.

If you have a technical question please find the appropriate section of the forum to post your question. As an example if you have a technical repair question you will want to select the "Machine Repair & Troubleshooting" section of the forum and create a "New Thread" detailing your problem. If you have a question related to programming then you may select the "Programming / Applications" section of the forum and start a "New Thread"

Here is the link that will display "all" of the areas of the forum. Click the one that best fits your problem of machine/repair on through to specific control models or machine tool builders (MTB).
http://cnc-professional-forum.com/forum.php

This helps keep the forum cleaner and easier for people to scan the forum and help in the areas that they can.

Here is a link to the FAQ and rules to posting.

Welcome and happy chip making.

Hello,
I'm a home shop machinist who is getting interested in professional CNC work. I joined here mainly to assist my friend who is a professional machinist of many years experience. Among other machines, he presently owns a Mazak QT-15 and has recently purchased a Mori-Seiki SL-3 with Yaskawa/Yasnac Controller.

He doesn't spend time on forums like I do so that's why he's not asking the questions here. We have some questions about the Mori Seiki which I shall ask in the proper area.

Regards to all.

Hello Bob,
First thing that you should do is start a "New Thread" in the proper section of the forum and label it something like "trying to remove center hub on dawoo puma 240".

This is the "introduce yourself" section of the forum and it is also an old thread. The title of this thread is "how to introduce yourself". No one is going to look in this thread thinking someone needs mechanical help on a machine.

If you read my post which is the very first one of this thread it will explain how to introduce yourself and how to post here in the forum.
