Default CNC Horizontal lathe

Come on friends,

Let us discuss about CNC horizontal lathe machines and as a part of it i have just started.

Exciting features of the cnc horizontal lathes includes solid structure, fine-looking facade, plentiful task, total configuration, consistent feature, high speed, accuracy, etc. A CNC lathe can make objects for an extensive range of applications. And it includes table legs, vases, glasswork, bowls, watches, billiard cues, chess pieces and musical instruments such as flutes.

Discussing on it will give some brief information about it

I program/ operate a Wema Joker 7000 cnc at the shop where I work. The CAD program is megacad, and the machine software converts. Very nice machine, it has a bearing steady to hold the wood true, and is very accurate to .002 inch diameter, shorter pieces with no flex within .002 mm. What info were you looking for?

Not sure if anyone else was having the same problem but I couldn’t get enough torque power until I used an AE-MDL-STPR811 board. It allowed me to get the torque I was needing and allowed me to add a surface mount heat sink and a fan. It also gave me the option to add external Schottky diodes, to remove heat, but I decided I didn’t need it. The board also has jumpers, if you want to hard code it, or it can just be connected to all controls signals by two .100” header connectors. There are some really cheap ones for sale at DriverDudes.com, you can get it fully assembled or just the bare board.
