This Freedom of speech concept is what makes the community great and interactive. The internet has a virtually unlimited number of sites for people to post there opinions and is growing. There is a slim chance one of the moderators could be unfaithful to our company, just as with any company there is always this possibility, however I hope this will never happen. There are always possibilities with any forum software or computer server that it will be hacked into and information could be stolen. To make a point. How many times do you here of credit card companies having security issues and that's 100 times more important then any information that could possibly be on here.

Copyrighted or Trademarked Materials

It is illegal to post any content that is copyrighted or trademarked, unless you hold the copyright or trademark. Any material protected by copyright may not be posted in the message boards without the expressed permission of the author or owner of the copyright on that material. This includes reproducing the full text of news stories, articles, etc. It is acceptable to provide a link to copyrighted material, to post brief excerpts, or to paraphrase other works, though we do strongly encourage you to cite the original source whenever possible. We will remove any copyrighted files or content upon being notified. Infractions

Infractions are used as a mechanism to track violation of rules/guidelines by users. Individually, an infraction doesn't do much of anything (unless it's a severe infraction), but if a user continues to accrue infractions within a certain timeframe, their account can be temporarily suspended.

Disputes Between Members

We do not have the time (or desire) to babysit members. If there is anyone that you don't get along with, you can choose to ignore them under your Buddy / Ignore Lists. Please don't ask to have a member banned simply because you don't get along with them. There are plenty of members that the administrators wouldn't consider friends, but it's not our job to silence members that we don't agree with.

Changing Another Members Post

There are three options you have for getting a post altered (or deleted) that was written by another member do not immediately contact moderators or administrators. The easiest method is to contact that member directly. They have the ability to edit their own posts for 24 hours after making the post. If the time frame is beyond 8 hours, the original poster can request the post be edited by an administrator. Only after the original poster has been contacted will we consider altering the post based on the content of it. We do not have the time to constantly moderate everything that happens within the forums. The Final option would be to execute a legal court order to do so. We will of course abide by any court order issued by a US court.

Posting Control Option parameters and settings

Unfortunately Fanuc which is usually the most common option parameters posted is a big dog and for the sake of our community I have to enforce the below rules and prohibit posting option parameters. Though it may be handy to help you troubleshoot and save you money since you would not have to buy the option. You may not post Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Yasnac, or any other controls option parameters for any reason. If you would like to help out the person in need you may contact them by other means. Standard parameters are ok to post. If posts are found they will be edited to remove the parameter number. We recommend calling the Control manufacturer to determine if the options are turned on for your machine. Best way is to make a back up of the parameters, email them and ask them to view the settings if this is possible to help you save the cost of a service call. Sorry for the inconvenience
