Default Johnford counter sensor alarm

I have a counter sensor alarm on a Johnford SV VMC. How do I fix this.

Rick,
As I posted in your other thread we need more information. What control are you using? What is the alarm number? When is the alarm occuring, etc?

Is this a seperate issue of the other thread or did you start 2 threads with the same question? If it is the same issue let me know as I can delete 1 thread so we are not bouncing and responding in 2 different threads.

When our johnfords do this usally 1 of 2 things correct it. Most of the time you can just manually jog magazine in reverse a few pots and it will clear itself, if not go to SYSTEM-PMC-PMCPRM-COUNTER and set the preset and current settings to the same value. The machine will usually lose tool pot positions so you will have to make sure you have the correct tool in the spindle.....Other than that,Bad prox........This is the only way i know to clear the alarm.....hope it helps.
