Default parameter question for fanuc 16/18/160/180-TB

Does anyone know which parameter allows spindle rotation with collet unclamped? This is for a bar change cycle. Machine is a Takamaz x-20 Hi Server with a Iemco Boss 542 barfeeder. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Depends on the machine and logic written into ladder for bar feeder option. I have seen some machines have a keep relay for type of interface or chuck clamp confirmation. Others I have seen some people just move the chuck switches to read clamped all the time. Probably not the best option when it comes to safety so I would not recommend.

Program for bar change was written wrong plus parameters in machine were wrong. All is great now. No more babysitting every bar change.
