Default 003 Parameter error

We are getting a 003 parameter error when trying to do a canned face execution. We want to cut identical pieces off a 1" diameter shaft and are trying to use the Face canned cycle. Our lathe is a Clausing EL 1545 with a Fagor 800T control. I figure the z coordinates should be 0.0 for both the begin & end points. The x is the only one to move. We are setting the diameter at 1" & one pass. We don't get any movement.
