Default fanuc 11 "L" error and masterboards revisions

My old masterboard A16B-1010-0330/11A comes to senses only after heating of the part of PCB and operates. Axеs running.
Installed another masterboard A16B-1010-0330/10A shows "L" and on screen I see "PC PARAMETERS LOAD:END", though all additional PCBs(memory, etc.) works fine.

In what difference between 10A and 11A revisions?

Both PC boards are the same.Do not worry about that number.
Do you have a back up of the memory? Where did you get the new Master PCB? Do you know it is a good PCB? Did you put back the old master pcb?
An "L" on the Master PCB means you have entered the "IPL" mode. But if you see "PC PARAMETERS LOAD :END" it means that the CPU has stopped there. This is why I am asking you if you are sure this new pcb is ok.

Regards
Alex

Nevermind Guhl. We have had this conversation. I know it is you. Been working to much.

Hi
the difference is that the drivers ICs on one board are soldered and on another - in sockets
now I'm not sure that board is OK, but from the other hand, too much tests have passed before "L" appeared
I understand that sub cpu stopped, but why? what may cause the cpu to stop

I would put back the original pcb to see if the "L" appears again.

the most interesting is that the old masterboard works fine if I have heated one big IC before turn the power on, therefore I can't suspect anything else

Is this big IC soldered to the master PCB?

Because I was thinking you could replace this IC cheap easily, but if you are not sure this chip is the problem then it is not worth to try and swap it with the other PCB. This master pcb is too expensive to damage it.
