Default BTR help please

Hi all I have a Takamatsu lathe with a Yasnac 2000g controller it came with a Btr but for the life of me I cant get it to speak to my lap top
I have been trying with Bob cad predator editor I down loaded the post prossesor for Yasnac 2000g control and I went thru the machine settings
I have tryed usb/serial adapters and serial exspantion cards in my lap top
I am able to get the lap top to send and recive from another computers serial port but not from the BTR the has a db9 on its end andI have tryed
a few diffrent cable wiring setups but that hasnot helped. Its a real pain
to have re write a program each time you want to change parts.
Any help here would be greatly aprecated Thanks Palmer

Default Re: BTR help please

unless are sure its OK you could have a blown UART in the BTR
Sometimes they only blow one way "
Try sending and receiving if you haven't already.
if thats the case you will need a new BTR.
