Default CNC to NC software
I just purchased a Matsura MC-500V VMC as my first CNC milling machine. This machine has a Yasnac M5 control which has a punch tape reader. I would like to be able to interface my Dell 1100 computer to this machine through the RS232 port and do the programming off line and upload the program to the machine. I do not have a tape punching machine and dont feel like standing at the machine in MDI mode. Any good programming software out there with differen't machine profiles and editing capabilities to make life easier as an upgrade to tape readers etc. Also need to find parts manuals and parts suppliers for control boards etc. Any help would be appreciated.
