Thanks, I was asked the question recently and I had tried a couple years ago and could not get GX developer to recognize the file or load a backup ladder file. I also contacted a rep that reps Mitsubishi PLC's to ask the question about the software and they told me there was another version that was different from the standard PLC programming version. I see from the documentation that it looks to be the same package so maybe the person I contacted did not get the proper information. However I know he had to call someone because he did not know anything about machine tools. Will have to try again sometime in the future. Just looking for info for when that time comes.
